Lab42 is raising money for LWS Night Shelter!

We’ve been raising money for our studio charity, Leamington-based homelessness charity, LWS Night Shelter, by heading out on a virtual walking tour of all of Sumo Digital’s studios.

Our step challenge saw our team take a ‘virtual grand tour’ of all the Sumo Digital European studios. Starting out in Leamington Spa (where we share a town with our sister studio, Sumo Leamington and Sumo Group’s publishing arm, Secret Mode), we’ve hot-footed it up to Nottingham, Sheffield, Warrington, Leeds and then over to Wroclaw in Poland (the home of PixelAnt Games), back to Brighton (the home of The Chinese Room) and then back to Leamington Spa!

The whole tour took around six weeks and we’re now at the final hurdle of hitting our fundraising goal.

Kirsty Kirby, Operations Manager at Lab42, said: “ LWS Night Shelter is a charity incredibly close to our hearts and we're proud to be supporting them. The virtual walking challenge is giving our team at Lab42 the opportunity to bond whilst raising money for a fantastic cause.

Based in Leamington, LWS Night Shelter provides hot meals, a safe place to sleep and company for homeless and vulnerably housed members of the community in Leamington Spa and the surrounding area.
